Gates for older homes in town
Timber side and garden gates made to fit the opening you have, which matters on older houses where nothing is quite square. Neil builds to the gap, not to a stock size.
Based in Angaston · Barossa, Adelaide Hills & Gawler

Angaston is where Neil lives and works from. Custom timber and steel gates, post and rail and farm fencing, and gate motors, for homes in town and properties on the hills around it.

Aston Rural Enterprises is based in Angaston, so this is as local as it gets. If you're in town or on a property nearby, Neil can usually come round to measure up without much notice, and he's always glad of work close to home.
Angaston has a bit of everything. There are older stone cottages and newer houses in town, vineyards on the valley floor, and grazing country climbing up into the ranges towards Keyneton, Moculta and Eden Valley. That means one week it's a side gate for a house in town, the next it's a wide farm gate or a long run of post and rail on a hillside block.
Neil builds each gate for the opening it's going in, mostly in hardwood timber (spotted gum is his go-to, oiled to protect it), and hangs it himself.

Entrance pairs for the drive into a hillside property, often with Neil's curved top rail, and post and rail wings built in the same timber so it all ties in.
Stock-rated fencing and heavy farm gates for grazing country east of town, set with machine-bored posts so the run stays straight on the slope.

Angaston sits on the eastern side of the Barossa, where the valley floor meets the ranges. Neil works from here right across the valley, out to Gawler and down through the Adelaide Hills.

Yes. Every gate is built to the width of the opening it is going in, so older entrances and openings that are out of square are fine. See one-off designs.
