Mostly hardwood timber (spotted gum is Neil's go-to, oiled to protect it), with steel where it suits the job. Steel can be hot-dip galvanised or powder-coated. Neil hangs the gate himself, or it can be collected or delivered ready to install.

Wide, solid gates for paddocks, laneways and farm entrances, built to the width of the opening and hung to swing true.
Single or double, with post and rail wings to match if you want them. Steel farm gates can be hot-dip galvanised so they hold up out in the paddock.

Neil fits swing and sliding gate motors to the gates he builds, and to gates you already have.
They run off mains power, or solar if the gate is a long way from the house. A keypad goes on its own post at the gate and you get remotes, so you can open up without getting out of the car. Intercoms and safety sensors can go in too.
Once it's in, he sets it up, tests it and shows you how it all works before he leaves.

What are the gates made from?
Mostly hardwood timber. Spotted gum is Neil's go-to, oiled to protect it. Steel goes in where it suits the job, and steel can be hot-dip galvanised or powder-coated. It's quality Australian timber and steel either way.
Does Neil install the gates himself?
Yes. Neil hangs the gate on site himself. You can also collect the gate or have it delivered ready to install.

Where does Neil build and install gates?
Neil is based in Angaston and works around the Barossa Valley, the Adelaide Hills and Gawler, in towns like Nuriootpa, Tanunda, Lyndoch, Williamstown and Mount Pleasant. He travels anything within about 1.5 to 2 hours, so call and ask if you are further afield.
